Dry Prawns Chutney [unakka chemmeen chammanthi ]

 

50 g dried prawns
6 shallots ( chuvannuli )
4 dried red chillies, big
100 g grated coconut
salt  to taste
1 Clean the shrimp (remove the head and sharp edges, they can be removed easily by hand).
2 Dry roast (fry without oil) the shrimp Shallots  ,Red Chillies  for around 5-6 mins till the shrimps become crunchy and aroma
3 Grind everything together, till the dried shrimps are powdered well. Do not add water while grinding. 
4 Serve with rice or kappa /chakka puzhukku
